1. By participating in this hackathon, you agree to abide by the official MLH Code of Conduct https://static.mlh.io/docs/mlh-code-of-conduct.pdf
    • All hackers, sponsors, mentors, and organizers must abide by the Code of Conduct; violations result in disqualification.
  2. You can work individually or in teams (maximum of 4 members). Teams with more than 4 members are not allowed.
  3. Participants may only belong to one team, and at least one member must attend the judging session in person to present their project.
  4. All participants must register via the official hackathon website at www.girlhacks.tech
  5. It's fine to build on an idea you had before the event or one that’s been done before, but all coding must be done during the hackathon. Pre-existing code is not allowed.
  6. Open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks can be used, but the final product must be original.
  7. Teams are limited to submitting only one project, and they cannot submit the same hack to multiple hackathons.
  8. To submit your project, teams must upload their code to a GitHub repository and submit it through Devpost before the deadline. You need to present in person for judging.
  9. Plagiarism, cheating, or inappropriate projects will lead to disqualification.
  10. Do not harass, impersonate, or abuse anyone at the hackathon event. 
  11. Keep the hackathon project content appropriate.
